Racing Approach
In the 400m and 800m, I race with a clear plan: controlled beginning, committed middle, then build with my legs and finish hard – controlled start, strong middle, all-out last quarter.
In the 200m freestyle, I’m comfortable going out harder, finding a strong rhythm early and then holding form and speed on the back half.
In the 200m backstroke, my focus is on underwaters, kick and efficient turns – using breakouts and walls to stay in control of the race.
Across all events, I focus on repeatable execution: holding technique under fatigue, using strength training to support endurance, and staying ready to perform across multiple events and days at a championship meet.
Current Focus
Building 400m/800m freestyle capacity while improving 200m freestyle speed endurance.
Developing backstroke to stay at a high-performance level as my alternative event.
Sharpening underwaters, turn speed, and race finishes across all strokes.
Building strength and durability in the gym to support year-on-year progression.
